At the Jamarat

Photobucket

A Small Collection of Stones

Release in a Muslim’s moment
The joy and anger
Of glorious retaliation
Against weakness and sin

Relief at the jamarat
Is in a small collection of stones
Missiles against the Shaitiin
Whistling through the air

Asalaam Hu Alaikum

Firstly i am grateful to be Muslim and Grateful that Allah(swt) chose me to perform the Hajj in 1428(2007) algamdulielah

As a south african it's not easy to get to go for hajj as the waiting list is long and older first time hujaaj get onto the list easier or that's what happened when we applied and also the travel is very costly, and u might only get one opportunity in this life time, so ppl work hard and use their life savings to go.

But nothing prepares u for the experience, the emotional awakening u recieve is tremendous and i Shukr my maker everyday for this wonderful journey of discovery, my advice to anyone is to go when u are young and have the strength but also so that when u come back u live the life of Al Hujaaj.

it's remarkable how everything u say or do from then is measured, and u yearn to go back and see the majestic Kaaba again and feel the fulfilment when u are blessed with being present on Arafat during the Waght of wukuf.
